The exhibition was developed in the context of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and forms part of the Milano Cortina 2026 Cultural Olympiad.
From December 12, 2025, to March 14, 2026, AM LIMIT / AL LIMITE at SKB ARTES in Bolzano brings athletic achievement and artistic perspectives into dialogue. Seven Olympic and Paralympic medals won by south tyrollean athletes are presented alongside large-scale artistic installations. Beyond moments of triumph, the exhibition explores the emotional, social, and physical dimensions of competitive sport and the challenges behind athletic success.
The participating athlete - artist pairings are: Dorothea Agetle with Brenner-Havelka-Plessl, Antonella Bellutti with Cornelia Lochmann, Tania Cagnotto with Michael Fliri, Carolina Kostner with Rixa Rottanara, Gustav Thöni with Leonhard Angerer, Omar Visintin with Wil-ma Kammerer, and Gerda Weißensteiner with Damian Piazza.
