Goliath transforms discarded alpine and cross-country skis and bindings into expansive sculptural installations. Reassembled into colorful, barricade-like structures and trophy-like heads, familiar objects of competitive sport acquire an unexpectedly defensive and militaristic character. The works reflect on physical and psychological barriers, competition, resilience, and the relationship between individual and collective strength.

At the center is a tribute to six-time Paralympian Dorothea Agetle, whose silver medal from Nagano embodies both athletic achievement and the overcoming of physical and social limitations. Drawing on the ancient narrative of David and Goliath, the series shifts between vulnerability and power, confrontation and resistance. The Olympic Games become a symbolic arena in which competition is transformed into peaceful conflict, while strength is redefined through endurance, determination, and the ability to overcome barriers.
