Skin Figures are small, autonomous sculptures derived directly from the large-scale work Skin. Individual figures and motifs are reproduced as fine art digital prints, carefully cut out and prepared to become miniature paper objects.

Removed from the dense composition of Skin, the figures detach themselves from their original context and develop an independent physical presence. What previously existed as part of a larger image becomes an object in its own right. Through this shift from image to sculpture, Skin Figures extend the process of fragmentation and transformation at the core of the project—allowing individual fragments to break away, stand on their own, and assume a new identity.
