Painted by two, Plane crash unfolds as an overheated, disintegrating landscape in which painterly languages collapse into one another - drawing, gestural abstraction, and figuration coexist within an unstable visual field. Catholic iconography merges with animal symbolism: a bleeding hare becomes a grotesque emblem oscillating between sacrifice and witness, while the egg recurs as a fragile sign of origin and containment. Within the body, twin figures suggest both potential and threat. In the background, a plane crash punctures a burning alpine horizon, accompanied by melting glaciers and a dissolving snowman—markers of ecological crisis. From a political perspective, the work reflects a world shaped by systemic collapse, media saturation, and the erosion of shared meaning. It resists narrative coherence, aligning with a dadaist sensibility in which meaning emerges through fragmentation and rupture.
