"I am fine!?" deals with a drastic event in the life of a young person. How do you process trauma, anger and your own failure? Can you get up again after a deep fall? Can you cope with everyday life again?
The work deals with the topic of manic depression, the mental disorder as an illness, and gives very intimate and personal impressions of what it means with the complexity of suffering and pain in words and pictures; from the realization that help is needed; the medical diagnosis; the search for suitable and correct therapy and care places; to medical care, to learning to deal with it, to developing a form of acceptance that life will never feel the same again. The attempt is made to make the suffering that comes with manic depression understandable and clear. A clear message should be conveyed; I am here and I am not alone.
