In 404, two opposing large walls create an immersive situation. One side shows an oversized eye as omnipresent observation in the digital age; the other, a permanent mural painting and installation on an 11-meter concrete wall, presents thermal motif suggesting emotional distance and technological mediation. Standing between these poles, the viewer becomes a “microfigure,” standing in the center of a thermal imaging camera, being confronted with the ambivalence of digital connectivity.
