Paper Trail
Drawing,
Print,
At its core, Paper Trail considers drawing as one of the most immediate and direct forms of expression - a space where thoughts and images can surface before they are fully defined.
Paper Trail brings together a growing collection of small-format works and sketches on paper, encompassing drawing, lithography, linocut, etching, alugraphy, and screen printing. Pencil, ink, ballpoint pen, oil crayon, watercolor, pigments, and other materials become part of an ongoing experimentation with techniques, styles, and visual languages.
Moving freely between spontaneous gestures and more elaborate compositions, the works reveal unexpected narratives, personal observations and underlying thoughts. Different approaches are deliberately combined, contradicted, and reinvented, allowing styles and techniques to coexist without the need for a unified aesthetic.
